Lafayette Mentors is a private foundation established to be a consistent, positive influence in the lives of local boys from 5th grade all the way into adulthood. Since 2012, Lafayette Mentors has been working with 5th - 8th grade boys in our First Crew after-school program. First Crew helps the boys establish a good work ethic and positive habits before they enter high school.

Lafayette Mentors has now introduced Launch House - a residential program for young men who could benefit from intense guidance and direction for navigating into adulthood. These young men have often not had the benefit of a nuclear family to provide this guidance and direction. Referrals may come from foster care, school counselors, juvenile justice providers, community service agencies, and even self-referrals from young men themselves.
